Bio
Name: Kaelyne P. Mowell
Occupation: Social Work
Years involved in the Highland Games: 20
I began attending the Highland games with my parents and helped with the MacLean clan tent when I was a teenager. I got bored with the "clannies" as I got older and decided to give the Heavy Events a try. I enjoyed both the success I achieved and the friendships I gained.
Clan/Tartan: MacLean (my Maiden name)
Name: Carl A. Mowell

My wife introduced me to the Highland Games and she talked me into my first competition. I was hooked right away and I have enjoyed the camaraderie and fun ever since.

We became the Portland Highland Games Athletic Directors in 2002.
Our goal is two-fold: First to help the Highland Games in the NW have the best competitions they can by providing technical support and expertise.
Second to help both prospective and existing Highland Athletes in the NW by providing information and opportunities to compete.
